Comm Alive ! Technology monitors the GSM network connectivity status and will automatically power-cycle the modem if the modem loses the network connection. An open connection timer (DCD-MON) is also implemented and can be set to 45minutes (to prevent open data calls). 24H reset feature also resets the modem daily. Two LEDs indicate power, network connectivity and RS232 activity. The modem has intelligent power change-over between USB power and external DC power.
